Best Pizza in Boston

April 20, 2012

Unsurprising location: North End

Classic space: Corner of two cobblestone streets. Old wood interior. Aged red wooden booths. On the small side for squeezing in next to your fellow diner.

The staff: On the eccentric, loud, yet competent side. Ours broke out into impromptu dances depending on the music.

Eating: Fast food cups. Thin paper plates. Utterly delicious pizza – crust perfectly balanced between crispy edges and crunchy indications of strength to hold up sweet and aromatic sauce and cheese and toppings. Oh, and the freshest basil perfuming the air, tickling our noses, elevating every bite.

Regina’s Pizzeria is all about getting things just right:

MMMM meatballz

Hefty breaded eggplant chunks mean that vegetarians have serious options as well
