A dining room in East Boston

A block away from the East Boston office is Mi Pueblito – a sizable dining room with white tablecloths, big flatscreen hanging in a corner, and a state-of-the-art jukebox. For just $6, I can get a cheesy hot pupusa and two tacos to go.

Something about toasted cheese is just so good.

This sauce seemed to be tomato-based, but wowed me with its smokiness and spiciness. I was startled by the numbing of my mouth.

Very practical packing for what turned out to be a rather fresh slaw.

Lengua and Adobada tacos – solid, a steal at $2 each. I liked the atmosphere of Mi Pueblito – seemed good for drinking Mexican beer and eating through many tacos.
